The solution to the feeding problem when out and about

A standard tray-less highchair

When eating out with a young child it can be difficult to manoeuvre the high chair and feed them. Since my daughter has been able to sit up and use a highchair, we’ve had huge trouble when out and about as most high chairs in restaurants don’t have trays and the chair itself is either too high or too low for the table level. This usually results in me having to hold my daughter to feed her, therefore letting my food go cold! The answer of course (if I’d actually thought of it sooner, I’d be better off) is using my Trabasack as a high chair feeding tray.

Sometimes the tray itself is of dubious cleanliness and you would just rather have your own portable high chair tray that you can use!

Having already used my Trabasack as a food tray at home, it was easy to try it out as a high tray feeding tray whilst out and about with great results. As well as meaning my daughter could have her food placed in front of her easily, it actually made the high chair more secure as she couldn’t wiggle and move around so easily as the Trabasack kept her comfortably in place! other paraphernalia inside the Trabasack bag space. When we go out, I always take our Trabasack and hang it from the buggy’s handles when not in use or let my daughter use it as a playtray.

I like the versatility of being able to feed my daughter within the comfort and familiarity of her own buggy or being able to use my trabasack on the many different types of high chair with the supplied straps.
